Introduction

Petroleum University of Technology has paved the way for the students’ academic and scientific growth through providing them with various educational facilities. In this regards, faculty of education tries to enhance the quality of education by arranging educational programs, cooperating with educational and executive departments, and monitoring the quality of the ongoing programs, in addition to assessing the students 'and professors' scientific growth.

Major organizational duties of educational deputy

• Planning, preparing educational general principles, & presenting strategies and policies as well as supervision on their implementation.
• Studying the educational regulations and presenting necessary advice to the university’s education council in order to improve the quality of education.
• Evaluating the students’ status and making decision about their educational problems in terms of scientific and practical progress.
• Making sure of duties fulfillment in subsidiary departments through direct supervision on their activities, & making the required arrangement.
• Planning & supervising on post-graduate affairs and short-term professional courses.
• Having constant supervision on faculty members’ status and attracting highly qualified and well-experienced instructors in cooperation with the education department.
• Supervising the student’s exams administration and professional courses tests.
